The West Virginia Youth Empowerment Summit will be held at Heritage Farm Museum and Village in Huntington, West Virginia. During the summit, participants will have the opportunity to choose 2 activities at Heritage Farm including:
- Red Tail Racers Zipline – Soar across the valley on 1100-foot zip-lines at speeds up to 40 mph and take in a stunning bird’s-eye view of Heritage Farm!
- Talithakoum Challenge Course – Take your adventure to new heights with this aerial course featuring swinging beams, rope bridges, cargo nets, and the Mountain Top Drop 40-foot free fall!
- Tour of Museums – Explore themed museums with fascinating exhibits including Appalachian artifacts, mining and glass production, advancements in electronic communication, and transportation!
- Tour Animal Areas – Experience Appalachian nature, climb through the Treehouse Trek canopy bridges, and meet friendly animals like llamas, piglets, and bunnies!
What to wear: For those participating in the adventure activities – wear closed-toe shoes, shorts/pants, shirt that prevents harness-to-skin contact (t-shirt preferred), and pull back long hair.
